DE Photo, the UK’s leading sports and events photography franchise, is expanding its operations into Ireland.
The company has awarded its master licence for both Northern and Southern Ireland to Georgie Huston, 31, a DE Photo franchisee.
The expansion into the emerald Isle continues the strong growth of the multi-million photography franchise, which was founded six years ago.
The company is now looking for four franchisees for Northern and Southern Ireland.
Says Huston: “I am both very proud and very excited to be appointed Master Licensee for DE Photo for the whole of Ireland.
“We have shown that there is a tremendous call for the high quality photography we provide with fast on-site printing and this will drive our expansion.
“Finding the right people to become DE Photo franchisees is a great challenge, but I am confident we will achieve it.”
Huston runs two DE Photo franchise operations and has considerable experience in working all over the country – not least because she lives in Belfast and has family in County Wexford.
Her franchise businesses have been commissioned to provide photography for a wide range of organisations including Abbey Gymnastics, the RSPBA (pipe bands), the Gaelic Athletics Association, the Irish National Short Course Swimming Championships and the All Ireland Trampolining Championships, as well as countless school and club tournaments.
