Consultants Franchise: Chin Up, Redundant Executives

The Alchemy Network is urging so-called ‘directors on the dole’ to defy the downturn.
There are many CEOS, directors and other highly qualified business professionals among the 100,000 people currently made redundant every month.
Recession opportunities
David Abingdon, CEO of the consultants franchise, is imploring newly redundant executives to recognise and captilise on their wealth of experience.
David, an entrepreneur who rose from a council house background to own a country estate and who has personally taken three businesses to multi-million pound status from a standing start, says that those losing their jobs should remember that there are still many opportunities during a recession.
“Such experienced people, who have run businesses, worked to generate profits and customers and contributed to a company’s success, are exactly the sort of people we are keen to speak to,” says David, who previously founded the Quantum Organisation and Insurety PLC.
“Sometimes, when you are in the situation where your existing role is gone, it can be hard not to feel despondent and to forget to properly value what you have to offer. Yet the whole Alchemy ethos is about showing just such experienced individuals how to harness their talents and make a huge difference to companies, while creating a successful career for themselves in the process.
“The Alchemy process is so straightforward that it works whatever the state of the economy and whatever kind of business. In fact, our consultants can have an even more dramatic effect when times are tough, because companies are struggling to see more than day-to-day difficulties and business owners are so consumed that they can no longer see the bigger picture.
“One of the professionals who attended our last course covered his course fees within a month and already has three clients with others in the offing. Another who attended last autumn now earns a sizeable six-figure sum advising companies and has more work than he has time to say yes to.
“All this is easily achievable when you combine their business acumen with our tried-and-tested, results-driven techniques.”
