Shane O’Brien starts his football equipment franchise with Live4Soccer this month.

With year-on-year growth in sports retail and World Cup 2010 coming up, the former footballer saw a huge opportunity to supply equipment to clubs and schools in his area.

Having been involved in football himself since being at school, playing in both the Irish League and local intermediate leagues, Shane is particularly delighted to still be involved with the world’s number one sport.

After a number of months looking at different franchises, he made the decision to join the leading football franchise and hopes to utilise the contacts in football and education he has built up over the years.

Shane is also a retired police officer who has worked selling books for the Book People for the last eight years.
