Internet Marketing Franchise Rescues High Street

Online advertising is in high demand, securing revenue for ORCA Local franchisees.

If businesses don’t advertise, they can’t attract new customers. This internet marketing franchise provides local businesses with a much needed, and highly affordable, online publicity platform aimed at local people.

It is really starting to hit home to the British high street that times are hard and only the most forward thinking can survive. The BBC reported today so far 12,000 independent shops have closed this year; unable to attract the customers they need to survive, on increasingly desolate high streets up and down the country.

Everyone has a close affinity with their local town and their local community, but if local businesses continue to struggle and disappear this will have a catastrophic effect. If the neighborhood doesn’t spend with local retailers and service providers, less revenue is injected in to the local economy.

The majority of businesses thrive on referrals, word of mouth and advertising campaigns within their local area. When times are hard, as they currently are, the first thing businesses do is abandon their advertising spend, particularly in the local papers, in order to cut costs.

Steve Elles, Creative Director at ORCA Local says: “Customers still spend in recessions, they just become more bargain conscious and more prudent about what they buy, and where is the best place to find bargains? The internet!

Steve adds: “We are providing a genuine, measurable and extremely effective online marketing strategy that enables our clients to promote their businesses more effectively online.

“The internet can no longer be ignored. We help our clients to embrace its power by offering exclusive offers and promotions to local people.”
