Spotlight on Health Care Recruitment Franchise

When 247 Professional Health opened in Southport in December 2008 it didn’t have an office, any equipment, staff or clients.
Fast forward less than 12 months and the health care recruitment franchise is one of the largest independent suppliers throughout Sefton and Merseyside of staff to residential homes, care homes, rest homes, EMI care homes, learning disability centres, mental health centres and hospitals.
Founded in the depths of recession, the company has nevertheless prospered in what is a recession-proof industry. The North West-based recruiter trades over 1,500 hours a week in care work alone, amounting to £17,250 per week.
247 Professional Heath is now a corporate member of the Recruitment and Employment Confederation, a corporate member of the UK Homecare Association, a member of Investors in People working towards full accreditation and is also working towards accreditation by the Care Quality Commission.
The company has just registered the trading names 247nursing and 247homecare to augment care and support work projects.
Staff numbers are growing, as is traffic to the company’s blog, which now get’s nearly 1,000 visitors a week.
