Greeting Card Franchise Extends Its Range

Card Connection franchise; wedding and anniversary cardsLeading greeting card franchise, Card Connection launches a wedding and anniversary luxury card range.

The cards are being distributed to more than 15,000 retail outlets through Card Connection’s network of franchisees across the UK and Ireland, including the likes of Costcutter, Londis, Netto, Budgens, Spar, Haldanes and BP.

“Our focus on constantly updating and refreshing our extensive range, ensures our franchisees and valued retail customers always have the most appealing stock available on sale for consumers, just at the right time,” explains Andrew Cutler, sales director of Card Connection.

He continues: “With quality greeting cards to suit any occasion, our product selection now extends to more than 1,200 designs.”

The new creations include some stunning handmade cards; one incorporates a wedding dress with a real lace insert and another with a die-cut, fun couple in a ‘just married’ wedding car.  The large luxury format shows a traditional church scene, set off with a short-fold and scalloped edge.

Other styles in the wedding range include contemporary designs and popular photographic images included in a tall ‘scrapbook’ style card.

The anniversary additions include various handmade cards aimed to have a broad appeal. The large luxury format has a traditional and romantic feel featuring a dancing couple, an eye-catching photo and an elegantly foiled short-fold, die-cut heart.  Other designs include humour or beautifully illustrated tall cards and wordy sentiment.

Card Connection has limited vacancies for franchisees that are keen to run an expanding business. Candidates would ideally have some management experience as, once established, they would be expected to employ a small team, operate a warehouse and have several liveried vans on the road.

The available opportunities consist of acquiring an already-established territory from an existing franchisee.  These vary in price according to their level of development, but start at £20,000, plus stock with earnings potential in excess of £50,000 per annum.
