Stationary Franchise Appoints New Creative Manager

Card Connection has appointed a new senior creative director for its stationary franchise group.
Kelly Courtenay will take over the in-house creative department, with responsibility for overseeing the design of Card Connection’s range of quality greeting cards, which are delivered through the company’s franchise network to retailers across the UK.
Andrew Cutler, sales director of Card Connection says: “We are pleased to welcome Kelly as a valued member of our creative and management teams.
“With her extensive experience of our industry, we will ensure Kelly is well placed to manage the design of Card Connection’s expanding portfolio, as well as to drive the creative arm or our business forward, taking advantage of new market opportunities for the benefit of our franchisees.”
Kelly Courtenay joins Card Connection from The Greetings Factory Limited, a design-led publishing company that manufactures greeting cards for independent retailers and major high street stores, where she was design and marketing manager. Kelly has also previously worked for International Greetings plc.
Card Connection uses a proven system, franchisees place greeting card ranges in retail outlets on a ‘consignment’ basis. The award winning merchandising service provided to retailers by local franchisees is second to none and has established the company’s excellent reputation especially within the convenience sector.
