Lawnscience Offers Franchisees a Taste of the Outdoors

This work from home franchise allows franchisors spend their days helping customers achieve beautiful lawns and gardens, by offering carefully prepared treatments and advising customers on lawn care issues which they can also help them to resolve.

Lawnscience was started by Terry Nicholson several years ago. Terry has spent a lot of time in America studying the US lawn care industry, which has an annual turnover in excess of $10 billion.

He quickly recognised that although there are some lawn care companies in the UK there is still huge potential for growth. The UK has an estimated 17 million lawns with only 2.4% market penetration.
Through hard work and determination, Lawnscience has quickly become one of the leading lawn care companies and is now running a number of very successful franchises.

Terry explained his reasons for offering franchises in his business: “Franchising was something I had not considered until several different people approached me and asked me if I could create a franchise in several different areas. I had a winning formula.

“My customers were all very happy with the lawn care service I was offering and this gave me the opportunity to run the business nationwide, but also have the peace of mind that it was being run by like-minded committed and motivated individuals.”

Lawnscience has expanded and covers many areas of the county, but is looking for people who would like to run a home-based business and enjoy working outdoors.
