Archer's Ice Cream Franchise Lands in Newcastle

Congratulations to Sharon and Mark Greener who together have opened the latest Archers outlet in Jesmond.

A sophisticated area of Newcastle Upon Tyne, Jesmond is home to a huge student population from both Newcastle and Northumbria Universities, so we are looking forward to the madness of fresher's week in mid September.

Archer’s New Moor Farm

Following the opening of the new parlour building at the farm in time for Easter and the wonderful weather in April the summer settled into its normal pattern of mad days with customers queuing down the drive to quiet days - overall sales and visitor numbers are up, the recession does not seem to be slowing us down!

Trade sales also continue to grow with particular success with the placement of branded freezettes at a number of outlets in the North East.

Archer’s Richmond ( The Station )

Congratulations to Tomas and Lenka who are now engaged - The Richmond parlour has been the Engine room of production this year, with the development at the farm Lenka has been making more ice cream than ever. Parlour sales are as last year while visitor numbers to the town are slightly down.

Archer’s Northallerton

After an amazing April Summer sales have been strong - we are now building a number of regular customers.

New range of special Ice cream Desserts are proving very popular - as we go into the autumn Graham is
planning a promotion to the Hotel and Restaurant customers in his area.

News from the farm

The tragic incident at the farm in late August was very difficult for us all and closed the parlour for a week - the mass of cards and good wishes from all over the country give us hope for the future - we are now endeavouring to get back to normal.

With all parlours doing well - a number of new Parlours to open before the end of the year and continued strong interest in the franchise venture - Archer’s continues to grow.
