TaxAssist Accountants, an accountancy franchise for small businesses, has now reached the milestone of over 100 shop fronts.
There are over 170 accountants across the UK, approaching 200 outlets, 104 of which are shop front based. The retail style outlets are aimed at attracting the local small and medium sized business owner with a fresh, modern and stylish look.

Expense Reduction Analysts has announced the appointment of Bill Owen as its new franchise director.
Bill will be based at the Southampton Expense Reduction Analysts franchise recruitment team and deliver the high calibre individuals that are required of the B2B franchise.
Bill was involved in founding the Snack In The Box brand and franchise model in February 1996. When the concept was introduced to the franchise marketplace, the company were inundated with enquiries and within the first year of the launch of the franchise programme were able to allocate 32 franchises.

A TaxAssist Accountants franchisee has netted the Bronze award at the Franchisee of the Year Awards.
Mark Fordham, accountancy franchise owner for St Albans and Harpenden, won the honour at the annual British Franchise Association awards ceremony in recognition of how he increased revenue from his existing client base by cross-selling services such as insurance, debt recovery and employment advice.
Mark, who received a cheque for £2k, also launched his first shop-front, increasing visibility and accessibility when many others are keeping a low profile, and is expanding his franchise territory to include Hemel Hempstead and nearby areas.

A leading tax franchise is opening its 90th shop front.
John Thomas will run the latest addition to the TaxAssist Accountants Network, located in Newport, South Wales.

TaxAssist Accountants has won the Silver Award at the British Franchise Association’s (BFA) Franchisor of the Year Awards 2009 for the second year in a row.
The leading accountancy franchise won the award, which recognises franchises that secure “today’s foundations for tomorrow’s success”, because it made accountancy “more exciting and accessible”.
