Top Number Cruncher Joins Auditel Franchise

Chartered accountant Mike Jackson has joined a leading consultancy franchise.

In April 2009, Edinburgh-based Mike Jackson launched a new career, joining Auditel, the cost and purchase management franchise.

With a background in accountancy and taxation, Mike trained and qualified as a chartered accountant with Coopers and Lybrand in Edinburgh. Post-qualification, he moved to Sydney for six years with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mike says, “I wanted the ability to work for myself, but with the security of a proven business model and a network of like-minded colleagues. I chose franchising as the best option.”

Accountancy Franchise Reaches Landmark

TaxAssist Accountants, the leading taxation and accountancy franchise, has announced the opening of its 80th shop front.

The shop-front concept was developed with the aim of attracting the local small and medium sized business owner with a fresh, modern and stylish look.

Not only do the shop fronts lend visibility and accessibility they also offer the credibility with clients and other businesses that working from home simply could not provide.

Accountant Franchise Lands in Ireland

TaxAssist Accountants, the accountant franchise which specialises in taxation services for small businesses has sold the master franchise licence for the Republic of Ireland to Greg Murphy and Roddy Comyn.

Greg and Roddy currently operate their own established and very successful accountancy practice in Dublin, which will now be transformed into the support centre for the Irish franchisee network.

The flagship TaxAssist Accountants shop front in the country will, the firm plans, be the first of 50 outlets in the country and the network is expected to grow to over 50 shops overall creating many new jobs and opportunities in the process.

TaxAssist Accountants was founded in 1995 and now has over 160 franchisees and 79 shop fronts across the UK. Further international expansion is in the pipeline.

Karl Sandall, chief executive of TaxAssist Accountants, says:

“I’m incredibly pleased that we have found two excellent master franchisees who will be taking the TaxAssist Accountants brand name to the Republic of Ireland market.

“I’m confident that with their ability and enthusiasm and with our experience and expertise that this will be the start of a long and successful relationship.”

Accountancy Franchise Launches New Website

Accountancy franchise TaxAssist Accountants has unveiled its new-look website.

The launch coincides with one of the busiest times of the year for accountants – the January tax return deadline – to increase traffic to the site and win new business.

Sarah Robertson, business development director of the TaxAssist Accountants support centre, says:
“We wanted to work with experts in the field and researched a number of companies both local and national.

“The company we decided upon was Ipswich-based Crafted Media, who were given the brief to enhance our search optimisation and redesign the site.

“The results so far have been fantastic and we hope that this year will again see us deliver more client leads to our network.”
